First track visit
I went to the street legal drags in my area on Friday night and it was packed. I was able to get a couple runs in. I ran a 12.83@111.17 and RT was .793 completely stock. I did not load up! I mashed it from idle in S+ with sport mode on. I did a elevation and temp adjustment and it calculated it to 12.2.
The elevation here is 2200ft and the temp was 24C. Or 75F
I was quite happy with my time because I do feel there was room for improvement and more runs with the car will help. I am going back this Friday and will get there earlier for more runs.
What is a good RPM to load up, I was thinking about 3000.
I have my MBH headers, cats and X-pipe and row air boxes to install so I wanted a few base line runs for a comparison.
I can see this being very addicting.

12.8 is about what you will get until you get proper track prep. Did you try race mode? Did you air your tires down? I got about 12.8 on the street with my 2010 P31 and about 12.6 with a tune using a G-Tech. The problem is being traction limited on stock tires. On a well prepped track and some practice launching with aired down tires I have seen 11.9 reported with a P31 car. Brake stall to about 1500 rpm for a second and ease into the throttle is what seems to get best results for some. Lots of threads on here if you search that will help sort this out for you. GL and have fun.

I was thinking I could get to about 12.5 with no real major changes. Just getting the launch timing down with the proper load. It's in the shop this morning getting new tires, 275s on the back. I did not use race mode, it seems to take to long to set up, I just did it manually.
I will run it again this weekend and then I will be installing the row air boxes and the LTHs.

They had some good track prep going on, I say this because they had some bracket cars there as well because the following night was bracket racing. Traction didn't seem to be an issue for some of the more powerful cars. There was a 2000 mustang /twin turbos running 8.8.
