Thanks man, I think I'm going to stay away from the copper look since it also looks to dark and will blend in with the color . Looking like brushed silver or gold is going to be the way I go unless I see something better .

Lmao no one in their right mind would use those rims lol
Working with velos now about a polished or brushed gold wheel. Silver would be kind of plain .

A little off topic but does anyone know where to get the side 6.3 amg badges in gloss black? I would rather just get replacement ones like I did with all the rear badges rather then have someone paint it gloss black.

Hyperion: checked out the website and they have a few "out there" designs that only the insane would put in their cars. but I saw a couple that i fancy and not too bad with the prices either.

Yes sir eBay was thing I looked at. Was where I bought all my rear gloss black badges. I couldn't mind the side ones though . Only in the stock color and the one with the red strip in it. If I can't find anything I'm just going to put the 6.3 badge and go for that look inside of the 6.3 amg badge .

I was so distracted by the wheels I didn't see any I'd consider......I'm used to (spoiled by) HRE quality and finish and it would be incredibly difficult for me to shop with another wheel maker, I know what I'll get when I order a set of HRE's, currently on my 6th set![Smilie](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/smile.gif)

with that website though, theres a link to see the finish up close and it doesnt look so bad. not a bad finish for the price i reckon.

ran two sets of HRE on pervious cars, amazing wheels but I'm always looking to give different companies a chance to wow me. End of day they are just wheels and can always sell and buy another lol

Back to the topic of Barolo Red, I love that color! I'm a sucker for "off" colored Benzes, but I prefer to call them "rare". If you are going with a 2/3-piece wheel, try a powdercoated silver face, powdercoated silver hardware, with a brushed lip.

True, there are a lot of forged wheel options available. Wheel forgings are supplied from a select few manufacturers, so most U.S. wheel companies actually use the same parts...kind of like the textiles industry.

The color of the car is the reason I even bought it ha. I was going to get a m5 before I came across the listing for it . I always had such plain colored cars so I couldn't miss up on a chance to get this one with the mileage it had on it . And I think I'm 100 percent going with gold. Velos sent me a photoshop of their wheel on my car with polished gold and honestly it even surprised me how good it flowed with the color of the car .
Another brand we like is RSV Forged. Personally, I think they have set themselves apart with their newest designs. There's also composite forged wheels which is a newer carbon fiber wheel technology.
Sorry to barge your post, but I get just as excited talking about wheels for other people's cars as I do my own. Please keep us updated on what you decide to go with.

Nice. Gold will give it a timeless look. It sounds like you are very familiar with forged wheels having owned HRE and considering Velos.

And your not barging at all, i love talking about wheels just as much as the next guy. These kind of post are what helps the next guy decide on their own set .
