Looking to buy a pair of 3 piece rims over the winter for the car but I'm stuck on what will look really good on this car. The Barolo red seems like a tough color to decide rim color on. Ive been leaning on gunmetal since the stock color does flow pretty well on the car. I feel like black rims will just blend into much with the color of the car. Just looking for some opinions. If you have a idea of what type of rims you think would look good also, speak up lol sharing is caring lol

Can you guys message me a ball park price on the s3s. That liquid black looks really good and so does that bronze . Would like to do them in 19s if that affects anything .
I'd avoid an actual color. I'd stick with your silver/black/gray finishes.

Dads car is one of the best builds on here but I wasn't a fan of his wheel setup since the black in the f14s blend way to much for the color of the car. Ive seen the other thread to about the crazy build the guy is doing. The car will be nasty once done but I also wasn't a fan of the avd1 that he Picked. I'm super picky when it comes to wheels. Makes or breaks the car really quick.
^ I agree. Just putting up some pictures of how that red actually looks with those color wheels in the real world. Not some dolled up pics of colored wheels on cars whose paint is much more forgiving to aggressive paint themes.

Thank man. You are right though seeing wheels on different cars and different colored cars doesn't help much. Just gives a idea how the rim will look and not on the car which is the biggest issue . It's going to be a rough time deciding this for sure

At the moment it's been between avd1, velos , and aristo. Avd1 is one of the only company's that I seen swear a 3.5 lip in the rear is possible on this car since they have done it a couple times already. The shop that does my work is a vender for velos so I can get them at a little bit of a better price. Aristo did a nasty setup for a widebody c63 awhile back that was gorgeous . The car is going to get dropped on accuair so the wheels need to set it off nasty .

Have you seen pictures of my old advs? I bought them off a member, ran them for a while, and sold them to another member who I think is still trying to offload them now.
I don't remember exactly how wide the lip was, but I could rest my phone inside my wheel width wise and still had a little room to spare. I don't think it was quite 3.5'' but probably close to 3.

No man never seen your old pair before , avd1 was the only company that said they could pull off a 3.5 in the rear . Idk why other company's aren't figuring out what they already know and offering the same thing . The velos s3 that he posted uptop though are acutally very gorgeous to a lot of wheels I've seen on this forum. Velos got me leaning a little that way unless avd1 can make me something different .
