Quarter Mile Trap Speed / Modifcations
Has anyone here done a before/after 1/4 mile run with ROW airboxes?
Not interested in Dyno numbers or 1/4 mile ET as much as there are too many variables there that can alter time........
Without going forced induction, is there an extra 1-2mph available to the this car post headers, catless mids, xpipe, air filters, and tune?

Are you asking if theres any difference in 1/4 times with a ROW airbox? And if theres any difference in 1/4 times with headers/cat delete/air filters/tune?

First question was-is there MPH trap speed proof via a before and after that adding ROWs to a car added any MPH to 1/4 mile trap speeds.
After that, I was curious if anyone had any trap speed proven additions besides those I listed that helped them pick up 1-2mph, not including forced induction.

Sorry, spread it out hoping it would be clear.

No Row boxes dont gain et or trap.
renntech boxes gains
groupM and JLmotoring front ram air portion gains .
Weight reduction will get u et and trap depention how much u take out.

Row boxes do make hp gains minor but gains around 5 or so paired with high flow filters 5 to 10 prob will not see a change in 1/4 mile with just row boxes. Tune and headers will def net you big gains in hp and higher trap speeds

The more I analyze what is going on with others time slips on this site, I believe it may be as "simple" as a C63 trapping at 119-120mph requires better grip and better launch techniques to take it beyond the 11.8/11.9 ET barrier. I also think that extra 1-1.5mph may come from traction happening a bit quicker and not as much wasted momentum time from lack of grip.
