2011 C63 good buy?
Hi guys, I'm on the fence about buying a used 2011 C63. This car has the updated head bolts, engine build was 62300ish. It has 37000 miles and is really clean. Its being sold my a big MB dealership in my area and i have no doubt they did a good job servicing the car, look good as a CPO. But...
-no warranty, sold as is. how reliable is the updated M156 and 7speed auto?
-is fuel economy that bad? can this be a daily driver?
I test drove the car and fell in love with the engine . the sound, the speed was addicting!! Never ever driven anything like this before. My heart want this car but my mind says no. Is my mind wrong guys?

Also mine is a daily driver. The mpg of the C63 depends on how you drive it honestly. You can get 20-23 mpg driving purely in C mode. It also ranges depending on if you drive more city or highway miles. I drive 90% city/street, mostly in M mode and range between 14-17 mpg. Though when you first get the car, you will range about 4-8 mpg, those first couple of tanks go quick lol.

I would definitely get a MY2012 or newer and there is some very good deals out there on these cars.

Personally, I would take it to an independent shop. The car might've been a trade-in, and not even serviced at them.
Thing is, maybe i'm a little paranoid, but I'm curious as to why they didn't CPO a 2011. If it's in such a good shape, they would "CPO" it, and be able to sell it for more than a Non-CPO, so, that right there to me, is a bit of a red flag.
Of course, I could just be over thinking, but, it never hurts to bring it down to a respected independent Mercedes Specialist, to have them go over it and everything.
