There is a matte silver 507 ed @ MB North Houston....... I 'might' be unloading the w205.... up to her.... then she'll get her white 2014 c63 back... and I'll grab the 14 matte silver 507 coupe.
Yeah she's a perfect fit for a gear-head like me...... I bought one of these stealth ebikes that goes 50mph...... and she was jealous...... so I got her a used one.... and she's all excited now.

Sounds like my wife haha. She loves my W204 and just picked up a leased A3 2.0T that she of course wants to tune already and it isnt even broken in yet. The first time she drove my C63 she texted me that she needs the same car in black.

I wonder why MB chose Alabama as their final assembly plant.
I'm sure it has to do with logistics and shipping cars over on time via sea freight.
But I don't know, I don't think people from Alabama have the same mentality and work ethic as the people of Bremen. I'm sure the W205 outperforms in some ways and has all the bells and whistles but I can't get the idea of the car being built here in the US...

But all C class cars for NA are made in Alabama, also some of the suv's are made there. I believe the ML63 has final assembly there now as well

HOWEVER i do feel if i'm buying an AMG i'd like it to be 100% made in germany but realistically does it matter? probably not

Wife hit me up tonight for her W204 keys back.... said she could not stand the extra dash noises.... so I'm off to trade this thing in tomorrow. Wish me luck... found a clean low lg 507ed matte silver in Houston. I'll post up pics if I land the deal of my liking.

That one would look better with black wheels imo, if it was a sedan it would be absolutely perfect for me

There it is again. Visceral experience. Your the second poster who has brought that up. That is why I snapped up a 2015 507 while I could. All the big makes are engineering all the visceral out of the driving experience.

Ha Betrazra -- If we go tracking we'll be going in the same car (except I've got the black forged wheels). Hmm, maybe motivation for me to get that carbon fiber boot lid spoiler...

Under the right light I can tell this was a former AMG Driving Academy car... you can see faint imprint of the continental tires sticker on the door skins...... and the faint imprint where the number was on the hood..... doesn't bother me at all... it seems amg maintains the driving ac cars fairly well.
Seems to have NEW: tires, wheels, caliper, rotors.
I've got to point out the massive difference in driving experience between this and the W205. Totally different tools for perhaps totally different purposes. Don't let the name fool you, the new C63 is NOT related to the w204 in anyway other than name.
The cold start, the WOT sounds, the lack of turbo lag, the tq, the steering feel (non-elec), the solid feel of the doors/car.... I'm in heaven again.

odonn - no... I went on a 30 mi bike ride early yest am to think about it, and came to conclusion that the 507 is what I'm after.
The pcar did not have warranty, so I'm a little apprehensive about p-turbo non warranty for this p-car-newb.
