row airbox vs carbino air intake vs K&N filter
Nice. That's a good deal. Thanks for the info.
oediscount part numbers are 1560940506 and 1560940606
vs
parts.com part numbers 1560940306 and 1560940406
should I not be concerned and order the ones from parts.com as they are cheaper?
I can confirm the part numbers ending in 306 and 406 from parts.com are row air boxes

K&N is well made and manufactured when examining comparable filters up close.

I will run them but its common in the Tuning industry to not use oil based filters on cars that use air flow meters.
I mean every tuner from kleemann to renntech uses a dry filter on our cars.
Completely unrelated, or maybe not. I used to run K&N oil filters in my race bikes for years. Till recently, when I started having oil pressure issues on more than one bike. I dug in, and most of the guys on the grid had moved away from K&N for manufacturing quality related issues like that in recent times. I jotted it down to a general decline in K&N quality and moved on.

Will I get errors in the computer? I have a V5 tune for the car now, but is there another tune specifically for the use of the ROW boxes? Thanks guys.
Are people are seeing 15-20rwhp gains from the ROW Boxes with AFE dry filters?
I'm assuming no tune is needed for a bone stock car (like me)?
Any negative side effects to doing the ROW boxes?
Lastly, would the stock filters fit the ROW boxes or AFE must be used?

No tune needed
No negative effects whatsoever
Yes, you can use the OE paper filters or aFe or K&N or BMC or whatever - they all fit. I like the aFe Pro Dry S filters.
