Well guys just to give you an update, Im not getting the car. The guy called this morning and said his oldest son wrecked his vehicle so he's giving him the C63. I'm really disappointed but life goes on. So now Im back on the hunt.
I do have a question though. For a 2009 c63 whats the most amount of miles I should be looking at with out really worrying about it? Most cars that year I see are around 70-80,000 miles. The one I was going to buy was under 40,000.
I'm also looking for one with no mods, stock only..

the only thing i'd be worried about with a 09 is the intake manifold..the head bolts are nothing..cost like $3-4k for the headbolts...
the intake manifold though..get ready to puke and **** your pants when you discover what one costs. Sure you can buy a used one, but it'll ***** the bed eventually too..the only way you can get away from the intake manifold not cracking is pay the $6000+ for mercedes updated intake manifold (I went through 2 intake manifolds before they installed an updated one) or buy a 2011 ..from what the tech at benz told me the 11's have the updated intake manifold so it doesn't crack

Yep his son is 19...seem like a nice kids but just started driving in August. I don't think its a good idea for him to be driving that type of car but its none of my business. Well the hunt continues..

I wouldn't say it happens to every c63 but imo the manifold issue happens more often then the headbolts do
