code 619 - cornering illumination

Hi guys. My data card says that I have code 619 - cornering illumination. Does this mean that my headlights also have that function or only my fog lights. It's very hard to tell when driving. My car is a 2009. Cheers

#619 is standard all C63 AMG I believe and it's only for the fog lights. It's actually quite annoying because it looks broken and I thought I had a wiring demon. I turn my front fogs on to prevent that.

Try turning your wheel steering wheel at full lock with your fogs off. Step out and you will see that one fog will light up and as you counter back to a straight position, it will gradually turn off.

Also when the actual headlights are on and your turning, the head lamps will slightly adjust to the corner, I can hardly notice them pivot but it does work.

No, only with the lighting package.

Bi xenons with pivoting bulbs, cornering fogs, partial LED tails and rear sun shade.

I'm not too sure what the Lighting package includes on the earlier models. You may want to check your build sheet.

data sheet

Thanks

My car has cornering fogs. The tail lights were recalled and replaced with leds. I have xenon and no rear shade. Do I have the headlight cornering package? If I purchase new headlamps (all have cornering) will this cause an ecu error if originally I don't have the package,

the lighting package xenons only move up and down on 204's not side to side. As mentioned above the cornering package turns on the foglamps, only 1 on the side you're turning which makes people think you have a burned out bulb when they see it since both dont turn on at the same time unless you have foglights turned on (rotary switch all the way turned to the right and pulled out)

hella head lights

Not even the newer model w204's move from side to side? May I assume that if I buy a replacement hella light it also doesn't move side to side? If it is able to however, how will it interact with the car? Thanks

did you get this figured out? i need to replace my 2009 C63 headlights and they have the corning illumination and i was looking at the Hella replacement light too but needed to know if it would work without the curve lighting.
