Hey,
Getting around to thrashing the car a little more and I noticed that when pushing the gas pedal wot there is a sticky spot at the very end. I feel it when pressing and when releasing. Someone said this is a kickdown button? My other cars (family cars) don't have it. Is this normal; that I feel it? Thanks

Yep, if you read the owners manual, you will see it referenced. Or it at least my 08 manual mentions it.
