I see a couple people have sold their superchargers. I'm thinking about selling mine. I will need your stock manifold, throttle bodies, and the throttle body harness. Also your stock drive belt, tensioner, and idler pulleys.

My car is a stage 2 setup, but I have the stage 1 pulley and belt. Also I have a trunk tank as well.

You will need will need to send your ECU to Weistec for the tune. I'm located in the Seattle area and will not separate the trunk tank from the kit. It will be sold with the injectors and throttle bodies connected so it will be a plug and play kit. Also it has 3 new idler pulleys.

Anyone in the Seattle area is free to come check it out. The kit will be removed from my car when I receive payment in full via Pay Pal and your parts.

I've also been eyeing for a used SC lately. But might just buy a new one if i do decided to get one. IMHO I find the recent asking prices to be unreasonable, apart from the recently sold stage 2 by eurocharged.

Maybe OP should consider lowering price? Even though you are including the trunk tank, you are also asking for parts. On top of that, again, used SC doesn't come with a warranty or a tune.

Just my opinions, from a buyer standpoint. That being said, GLWS.

Yes it does come with a tune, Weistec has said before they will tune used kits as the tune has already been purchased once.

Did eurocharge sell for 9k? This is 10k and comes with the trunk tank which is about 1k, making it basically the same price??

It would indeed make it the same price if it does come with a tune, and would make me reconsider getting a used SC instead. I understand Weistec will tune used kits, but my assumption has always been that I needed to pay for it, based on an email reply i got from them asking about used kits. So... i've been always accounting that additional cost when considering these offers.

im sure Weistec will warrenty there kit considering its only as month old

Unforunately, i don't think they do either regardless of how old it is. Here is a quote from the email i mentioned earlier.

"In regard to purchasing a used Weistec SC unit, you would need to purchase the Weistec headers exhaust system and send us your ECU for calibration ($1090). Please be advised that we do not offer warranty towards the purchase of a used unit."

interesting well just for peace of mind i brought a second hand stage 2 and have beating on it every day for the past year ran about 50 - 60 qtr mile passes and its still going strong

the ops supercharger is pretty much brand new his only had it for 1 month so dont be worried it will do what its supposed to do

Hmm they told me they would tune used systems, good to know, must have changed that since I had asked.

They will tune a used kit. I only paid $550 for the tune, stage 2 belt, and pulley. If people are concerned with the longevity of this style supercharger I defienlty suggest you buy a new one. When you add the cost of the idler pulleys, both pulleys, belts, and the trunk tank I think 10k is a fair price. I do not believe ANY of the other kits were sold with throttle bodies and preassembled like mine were. The only thing you would be giving me is the shell of your intake manifold that would need to be split to remove the throttle bodies any way.


I'm selling it because I moved on to working on the V12 cars. I have the whole car posted for sale for 34K if anyone is interested.
