2012 check engine and Purge Valve question
I have been having the check engine on and off for the last couple months. Went to the dealer lately for an oil change and they diagnosed the CEL. Code P0171 running lean bank 1.
They told me I need to change the purge valve. Apparently there are two of those and the one for bank 1 is on the passenger side and cost 217$ at the dealer! I told them I was gonna take care of this myself. They give me a part number (4710573) and went on my way.
Now I try to find the part online, but the part number they gave me doesn't seem to work at all. And the purge valves I find on the net don't have the same part number. I'm guessing the guy at the dealer screwed up. But I've been there twice for that and I'm kind of tired of going there and get the same dealer bs again and again.
Can any of you tell me the real part number for the bank1 (passenger side) purge valve?

I saw that thread but thought it was for pre-2012. Re-reading it, I don't know why I thought that.
But thanks, after matching the part# in genuinemercedesparts, it seems like this is the right one. How the heck did my dealer came up with part#4710573 instead of 000 470 88 93 is beyond me.
