At CoTA, chasing a C7 Z06
Last weekend I took part in a 3 day event at The Circuit of The Americas. I had a great time. The weather was fantastic. I shared a garage with a Ferrari 458 Speciale, Porsche GT 3 RS, and a Porsche Caymen S. I brought my 4 door family sedan 
Here's some footage of about 2 1/2 laps of me trying to close the gap on a C7 Corvette Z06. Well, at least I wasn't left in the dust.
I also put a longer video out there on youtube. It is our group feeding out onto the track and then the first half of the session. Someone from OK had a Sunbeam Yellow GT-S out there. If you're interested then just search on "AMG C63 CoTA" and look for (MVP 2).

Looks as if you represented well in the old "family sedan".
Very nice......still on the stock size RE-71's?.....holding up well? How are the Pagid pads liking life?
The pads seemed fine but I did have a malfunction with my RF caliper. The inside pistons were stuck in the 'on' position. That one pad wore out completely across the weekend - the others were normal.

Looks like a blast! Was that an MVP event? Have you been to COTA before, and if so how did MVP compare with your prior event?
My other recent event (1 day) was through Edge Addicts. They too ran a tight ship.
Sunday marked my 8th day (cumulative) of 4 sessions per day. So I've got 32 half hour sessions under my belt so far. I am still working on a few weak spots out there so I NEED more practice!

Pro lets you set your fastest lap, but the price for admission is too much. I'd rather put that money into track days, brake pads, fluids, and tires.
