I went down to the dealer to pick up a couple of OEM replacement lug bolts since a few of mine looked kind of rusty. Went to the counter and give the guy my VIN. The guy said there are a few revision (or version) and the latest ones are black and would fit a C63. I made him check and recheck again and he said the system indicated they are the right fitment. So I grab all 20 since they would look great with my HREs. I went home and did some comparison and they look a bit different. Aside from the thread length and seat, the head is shorter and hollow. Have any of you guys gotten these before? TIA

Is your HRE wheels radius seat?
After market wheels are likely cone seat.
Required length may be different depending on wheels.

The black ones work fine. I have the exact same ones on my car. I am running stock 18s though. Same issue rusty looking old bolts dealer replaced under warranty with the black ones.Originally Posted by 1Lop2K5C

Those will work fine....I had my Velos S3 wheels custom done to factory radius seat specs, I wasn't happy with any of the aftermarket lug bolt options in black, came across the black ones in your pictures at the MB dealer and purchased....they work perfect.

The black lug bolts look fine. They will work with your HRE provided the HRE seats are cut to work with stock MB lugs. You should know that or confirm it before use of OEM lugs. You should get 7 turns on the lug before it snugs up.
Thanks, I have had my HREs for a while now. They are the mono P series and are cut for OEM bolts.
