First pass with Stage 2 Weistec

I went out to Pacific Raceways for their opening day test and tune. The car picked up 10 mph with the 100 whp it gained from the supercharger.

I only made one pass before it got rained out. I used to be able to launch the car as hard as I could and would get zero wheel spin on the drag radials. That is no longer the case. The car spun all the way through first and in to second before I had to let off.

It ran a 12.40 with a 2.1 60ft, but I trapped 123 mph. This is an E63 by the way. Before the supercharger my best was 12.11 at 114 with a 1.8 60 ft.

I was probably the 15th car to make a pass on opening day and the track prep was not quite there yet. I'll be back out this Saturday, and hopefully be able to get in more then one pass. I think at 123 mph I should be able to break the 11.50 mark when I get it to hook.

You will def net faster times with traction. What drag radials specs are you running and what rims?

Nah. It was the first passes of the entire season on a track with almost no prep. I think 15 street tire cars went before I did. That is it. Actually a Mustang on drag radials crashed right before I went. It was his faults not the track though.

I'll get it to hook.

Ya! I really hope so. I'm hoping for 11.50s if I an pull a 1.7. I'm sure once the track situations sort themselves out I will be moving pretty good.

I sure hope you go way faster then that. I feel like headers tune intake cars race gas on slicks have run that time stage2 supercharger I wouldn't be happy unless I was 10.99

On a perfect day in a perfect world sure an n/a car gets close on the time but, believe me if you drove a blown stage 2 car you'd know the difference between the 2 instantly. If you think it's difficult to hook up in a n/a c63, you have no idea. A blown c63 is pretty much like a supra, unless you've got real tires on it all you're doing is looking at the mph. My stage 2 clocks in at 127-128mph. best of 11.8 with street tires.... 11.2 with slicks in 100* texas weather. I could've launched harder but was worried about spinning them lol. Yea what a joke even with only 225 width those dot slicks hook insanely hard.

Good luck man, Ill be out at the drag strip in a few weeks hoping for 10's if im lucky.

Do you have an LSD?

I think Mid/low 11's are on the cards...but not like...low-low 11's (like an 11.2 or better)

I wonder what the weight difference between the E63 and C63 is...200kg?

I have an open diff. I know one of the E55 guys has pulled the fastest 60ft out of anyone and hes on an stock open diff. I'll have new time slips this Saturday. It was just a track prep issue. I'm willing to bet I will be able to get the car to dead hook once some rubber and vht get on the track.

Nice job on your first pass and glad you kept the car.

How does the 7-speed w/blower compare to a 55K, for street use? It seems like it would be pretty cool.

Its a bad *****. I do like the 55K more though due to the reliability of the engine/trans. My SL55 went 12.40 at 114 with tune, s/c pulley, and exhaust work done.

My E has went 12.11 before the supercharger, and a best mph of 114.

That's awesome. I definitely hear you about the reliability with the 55K. Hopefully your trans/motor holds up a long time!
