New to MB, need some advice
Looking at two '12 C63 models.
1. 32k miles/ aftermarket LSD/ Tune
2. 50k miles/ P31 w/ LSD
both are priced similar and was wondering which would be a better option.
Thank you in advance

Both are same year, similar price, LSD and increased HP, so I believe the choice boils down to alcantara steering wheel or lower miles. That's a tough one for me. Does either have remaining factory warranty?

Is there a specific reason to why P31 every time?
#1 probably not
#2 yes
How much do 3rd party warranty companies usually charge?

P31 has upgraded internals - forged piston and rods, and lighter crankshaft - and some nice trim options. To some of us that's more 'special' than a $500 tune anyone can slap on.

If you are just looking to smoke the tires and try to impress your pals a non p31 will work.

+1, Carbon fiber spoiler and red brake calipers as well, one less thing you have to do when you get the car .

Assuming this car is sold by a MB dealership you'll be able to add the MB ELW. Otherwise it will only be third party which can be north of $5000 for 3 years up to 100k miles.

I'd go with #2.
Partially because it still has factory warranty and then for the fact it's P31. The other reason I'd take this one is that it's stock and unmodified.
But that's just me.
Lower mileage would be nice, but unless you're putting minimal miles on it and plan to resell it in a couple years, mileage doesn't concern me much.
