Would you put used tires back on?
So my front PSS worn out to the belt on the inside like many... I have two choices:
1. Put the new PSS back on sitting in my garage.
2. Put on a pair of Pzeros I've had sitting in my garage from when I switched to PSS and was overly pure to switch all four. They still have 7/16 across.
3. Bonus choice... Someone wants to buy the pzeros real cheap...

Strange these most obvious criteria did not yet get mentioned:
1. Do not mix different tires (e.g. Pirelli and Michelin) on a car
2. Discard tires older than 5 years
3. If above criteria are met, reuse, if they have enough tread left.

I think they are two years old...
Where is best place to sell these? eBay? Craig's? I really don't want to deal with the bother of strangers coming buy to look at them...

Use up whatever tires you have. If you're not tracking the car it doesn't matter.

That being said, if you had you had Bridgestone RE-71R's in the front and Continental DWS in the rear, I'd be giving you other advise as the characteristics of those tires are VERY different and could lead to some strange handling characteristics of the car.
Between P-Zero's and PSS for street use, I'm willing to bet 9/10 wouldn't be able to tell.

Only in America, LOL. In Germany, Austria or Italy nobody would even consider mixing different tires front and rear on a car like ours.
And I tossed my Yokohama fronts when I went to PSC2s, even though they still had 50%. But I can believe that most folks here will not notice if they just drive their car slowly. But then, why drive a C63? :-)
However, my experience regarding selling is also it is too much hassle to be worth it for used tires. Unless maybe locally via Craig's list and pickup.

Even if for track use. If any difference at all, it's only going to understeer or oversteer more than a freshly matched set given they're in the same performance category. The mis matched tires are not going to have a disagreement and magically disintegrate.
Rubber compound degrades during heat cycles. Leaving on old matched fronts with fresh matched rears is essentially the same thing.

btw, what kind of PZeros are we even talking here? PZeros go from an all season tire all the way to Trofeo Rs. Depending on that they may harmonize reasonably with the PSSes or not.

I'd throw the P-zero on there. Unless the new PSS in your garage are aging, I would put those on. Would suck to have brand new tires that you shouldn't use because they sat too long.
Easiest place to sell is Craigslist, IMO. You could do eBay, but I just hate the hassle of shipping them. Especially with the possibility of incorrect shipping quotes and junk. Not to mention eBay and Paypal's ridiculous fees.

In hindsight, I wish I just threw the PZeros on, but given where I am now... I think I'll throw the new ones on.
Thanks all.

Sorry for not having been clear: If the PZeros in question are PZero All Season tires, they would be very different from the PSSes and hence the car would handle poorly. If the Pzeros in question are for example, PZero Rossos, then they would be much more close in properties to the PSSes, hence the car would handle in a more balanced way (without excessive over- or understeer).

My recommendation would be to use up the old Pzeros that you have in your garage. Pzero's rears don't last very long. They can be used up even quicker if you want to make a youtube burnout video. lolz Then switch to your new PSS's in your garage.
