Question regarding fitment of rims on C63

Hello, need some advice from yall...im definitely a newb when it comes to wheels but im in the market for some new wheels to upgrade from the stock c63 rims. I found the below link for sale but will the below fit with no problems? They are coming from a CLA45 AMG so the wheels are all the same at 19x8 with 48 offest. Would this be a problem not being 19x9 in the rears with the 48 offset? Any advice is appreciated, thanks!!

It would look like you were running an inflatable spare on the rear :-)

Actually not that bad, but the skinnier wheel and skinnier tire in the rear would not look good and your traction would suffer.

Ditto.

Too big a compromise if you ask me. I think you will regret it.

It's not just the offset you need to worry about. It's also the spoke design. I have CL63 wheels on my car. +45 in the front just like my originals but they didn't fit without spacers.

Personally I don't like the idea either of running the skinnier wheels in the back. Like these guys said you better get good sticky tires or your rear will be everywhere.

Will they fit? yes, probably with spacers in the front.

Thanks for the feedback yall, yeah it seems to big of a compromise for me. Anyone know where I can find these rims that will fit other from the ripoff prices from the dealers? I found some replica ones that have offsets 46 F and 54 R which i believe are the same as the stock c63 rims. Have anyone had any issues with replica ones in terms of quality and them cracking or such?

I love these questions about putting replica rims on a fast 4000# car. If you have to ask, do you think it's a good idea?

There are enough OEM or *quality* aftermarket C63 wheels for sale (there's a Wheels & Tires FS thread). For safety reasons I would stay away from "replicas" and wheels that weren't designed for the weight and power of the C63.

2500$ for wheels that dont fit correctly. You're in hre flow form price range - wheels that are great quality, looks and proper fitment. Try and find something with the TUV certification - that means they are proven to not be junk.

^ This. Or, there's someone selling OEM C63 19s for $2500 CAD (no affiliation or endorsement) here:

I have some OEM Mutlispokes that were painted Gloss Black.

With Michelin PSS Tires. Wheels aren't perfect, but, the price will reflect that if you're interested.

Hi,

That's a very nice setup you have. Aren't CL63 front wheels 9X19 with +37 offset?

Cheers, C

There is a guy in Florida selling his black multispokes. I will post the link if I can find it.
