OFFTOPIC: Lots of Canadians?

Louis Vuitton and other luxury brands sales continue to climb, as they did even when the economy cratered. Dollar stores and discount retailers sales continue to climb, as does food bank usage. In the middle, stores like Sears continue to struggle to remain open.
No middle class.

I read an article some years ago that claimed Canada was the highest per capita of AMG buyers in the world.
My local dealer can't keep in the showroom. They sale like crazy.
However i rarely see any on the road..

Canada only has the population equivalent of California. OK, so we buy more AMGs then California...but who has more roads? Canada. By far. So we may have more AMGs but they are spread further apart. By a lot. Not as visible.

But.....per capita just means "for its population size". We buy the most AMGs per person, that doesn't mean we buy the most AMGs.

We love AMG's and M's here. By comparison the M owners outnumber AMG owners here in Toronto 3 - 1.
I noticed we have a solid C63 following here, MBTN has been great for Canadian MB enthusiasts to have an outlet to meet / discuss MB's of all kinds.
Our events are pretty sizeable as well, we average 40-50 AMG's at any given event. Not bad considering most of those consist of C63's.

Normally I am with you, but look at the cause. Those people had a bomb dropped on them. I would go even if it was a Nickelback/Bieber/Sarah McLachlan triple bill (normally Id rather eat a gun than see any of them lol) cos its a damn good cause, plus I know people involved with this who are spending a ton of personal time putting it on.

Cant says I blame you. Nickelback has never gotten much love here in Canada, even when they had the number one album worldwide most Canadians would have steered clear. We shipped em out!
