lol u beat me to it as I was looking up dads car to post up a picture.i thought about it also and it's not worth the headache doing some big intakes
and for the guys hating I'm almost positive the guy that did this knows how hot the engine bay runs and weighed in the pros and cons to this and most definitely would of done this with a hood scoop.if not he found out a good way to get traction in first gear lmfao

An old thread i know!
I´m just digging if there are any gains in custom air intakes.
However, i found that many asks about placing the filters in cold areas.
Still not a good idea, the oem system is as many says quite good.
But people are forgetting a important thing.
The air in front of the radiators is somewhat pressurized when car is moving.
If maintain this pressure with a good custom setup, there will be gains.
I´m just digging if there are any gains in custom air intakes.

I’ve almost got my own setup over the line but, I am troubled by the MAF sensor housing. There is nothing off the shelf that I can find that wI’ll work.
