My mate owns BLWN63 .
On the 13/1/2016 he did run and best he got was 10.3@135mph that day was 36c*(hot) and after 3rd run blower snout broke.
He must have forgotten to tell sonny about that day and gotten mixed up with the 2nd time out with that day(13/1/2016)

I have no issues with the times this car did, and like I said before it is very possible.
I have helped your mate Vince try and get better times, and I have spoken to several others as well to try and help them achieve better times and go through what works and what doesn't.
I wish your mate all the best with his car and hope he can go quicker.

I just showed the owner the photo and he said that's on Cowpasteur Rd leaving his house to the drags. And by the way he said he's never taken his car to Sonny with full slicks on the rear.

I don't know why people are so concerned about weight and no interior. I was there on the day that he ran 9.9sec and his car was paraded with boot (trunk) and driver and passenger windows down and the bonnet opened, and a lot of people were checking it out. So I don't think they were trying to hide anything. Do you think cars that are running very quick times and cars trying to break records have a set of golf club and baby stroller. Come on guys keep it real.
Charlie you're saying sonny lies and not being honest and block you on FB. Anyone would do the same as a competitor because you'd think your just trying to suss them out.

Comeon guys, really all of this is silly. None of these 9.x or low-10 cars are "streetable". Some run full slicks in back and skinnies in front, some strip the car down to a shell, some run nitrous (which in my mind at least is not "streetable" as it eventually runs out). Whatever you need to do to hit 9's, have at it. Everyone knows they're all mid-high-10 cars in real life at best. So who the hell cares who did what at the strip to hit their number as long as everyone is honest about it.... but even then, we all know what it takes to hit those numbers. Even if something is being hidden for who cares why, it's pretty easy to do the math and figure out what was done.
I just don't see any prize for running at the strip with full weight, full interior. Do whatever you need to do.

And you are totally right these cars every day street driven with street tyres are high 10sec cars no ifs or buts about it

He could only get ~250lbs out of it? Didn't try very hard. Some guys here got almost 3x that amount out. There was just a thread talking about it a few days ago.

What the hell did I miss lol! I echo blkrokt's comments. People will do what ever it takes to get the best time and they are far from daily/ street driven condition when running those quick and fast times. Who are we lying too?? But at least let's be honest with each other in what we did to achieve those times. No need to lie to make our times look better as the truth always comes out. And we are all in it to have fun, il probably blow my motor on the dyno or at the track as il be pushing it to its limits.
No need for anamosity between any one. I'm hoping to organise a euro drag day once I get my car back. Hopefully soon.

He had stage3
Stock motor
Stock tranny
67mm pulley
Pump bp98
Headers/ cats/ stock exhaust muffler
M/T street (no slicks no front runners)
FULL interior (no weight taken out except for space saver and log books)
He drove the car to track and home
You can't get anymore street then that!
My understanding he's car is the quickest in street trim ??
Guys overseas are running 10.7-10.5 ish .(same 134mph)

Some people are just weird about their cars and mods.
Here in SA, a lot of guys like to pretend they have no mods, when clearly they do.
I remember the first time I took my 63 to the drags, a guy in a older 63 challenged me. While sitting in the question, I asked him if he had any mods. He said it was stock standard.
Well, we pulled up to the line and this oke does a burnout. The noise that came out of his 63. Stock my ***.
