Sexy as hell. We have the other Alfa's here, but not that yet. I might be concerned about service options tho, around here anyways. May have trouble re budget. Any idea what US sticker is on those?

Looks like an amazing car. Great power with biturbo v6 making 505hp and 443 lbs torque, actually very similar power to the 507 edition. 0-60 also in 3.8 seconds.
If your budget will really go to $80K, I'd look at the new C63 drop top. First drives are starting to show up and it looks fantastic, sounds great, has a bit of room, and has that wide rear... The four door just cannot compete, IMHO.
That said, I've loved my FL C63, coming from my old '09. But it's extra sound dampening would make it sons silent compared to your old car. I still wish I could hear more of it inside the car. Sadly can't or down the back seats as I've got car seats in the back. My kids do have it good...
I would stay away from the Alfa. So many reports of poor build quality and poor reliability. Looks beautiful and drives well but the car just doesn't work.

I love the new C63 especially the coupe. I just don't have the patience to wait for it to be built. Wanting to get a new car within the next month or so

I read of one press outing with a half dozen cars and they were down to one, cos the other 5 were being attended to. Now, it may be they were playing with pre-production stuff, Im not sure, but that doesnt bode well.
Looks like a great car, but with Alfa's reliability issues, and lack of real support in the US, and it being a first year car, I would avoid till 3rd or 4th year in on it's run.

given that this is a more daily-drive focused car of a mid size 4 dour sedan I hope they put more attention in reliability than the other models

I'm also based off boston and had 2 C63s (2009 and 2011)
This guy is just full of brilliant comments isn't he
Im known to toss in my own fair share of stupidity that must have people shaking their heads and wondering how I got set loose, but at least I try to keep them guessing with the odd flash of brilliance
If you're here enough its all part of the conversation, otherwise its just hit n run heckling. Thats how I see it, anyways.
If it hasn't been mentioned already, maybe an F-type. You could probably pick up a used one around 70k. plus they have arguably one of the best exhaust notes on the market today.

That said they also use some fake exhaust notes to play through the speakers, but I do agree with you they do sound good.
Agreed. And when I drove the R variant I noted that. But man I had the salesman rev the car out in neutral after the test drive, and holy **** does is sound like a fire breathing dragon hoped up on enough blow to put Tony Montana to shame. Same thing goes for the 6.2. In regards to the new C63S, personally after driving the new C63S I walked away disappointed except for the racing seats. I loved the seats. In my book if I had 70-80K i'd go ether F-type, M5 (but lease it they drop really hard really quick), GTR, R8 (if you can find a good one), or an Aston Martin. Yet if you wanna keep it in the Mercedes family, then the E63 might be the best fit (I have yet to drive this car though).
