Procharged c63 Project

Hi guys I’m new here.
i have a w204 c63 also and i wish to pro charge it as well.

Mods so far: 4 into 1 extractors no CATS straight piped to rear resonator, e85, black series lifters, tune, running close to 390kw at the rear wheels.

has there been any updates or recommendations in regards to pro charging the m156 with out cutting any body off???

There are a few issues that immediately come to mind; firstly, where would the compressor unit be mounted? I decided that the most simple (and cool) way to solve this issue would be to have a precisely fitted hole cut in the hood in order to allow the compressor unit to sit (roughly) halfway submerged in the engine bay and halfway out of the hood of the car. A custom CNC machined compressor mount would need to be made, which i have spoken with Eurocharged about. Secondly, a custom series of pipes would need to be fabricated in order to pair the outlet of the compressor unit to the inlet of the front-mount intercooler, and from the outlet of the intercooler to the throttle body. I figure the appropriate tune for the setup would be similar to the tune for a supercharged m156 motor, with a possible deviation at lower rpms to accommodate for the brief period of time where the air in the intercooler/intake manifold is building pressure before being fed into the motor (I suspect the initial boost curve in a procharger setup to be slightly different from a top-mounted supercharger setup). I believe that these aspects of the build will be the most challenging. But overall it seems quite straightforward. I'm reaching out to this community looking for any kind of advice/ideas/criticism on the idea before I jump right into it. Thank you in advance!
has this been finished yet??????

Yes. It's in a 211 chassis, but It's been on for about 2 years. Hood closes, didn't need to cut anything on the 211.

Walk through would be tough, throttle bodies have to be relocated, fan has to be cut completely out of its molding and reattached, radiator has to move as well as be replaced, oil feed lines have to be rerouted/tied in with AN lines, make transmission lines, cut the intake manifold for access and do some welding on that guy. Send me a dm and I'll show you some pictures.

I honestly don't know. Haven't had it on a dyno or anything. Just ran ~10lb thru it and hptuners said 918 lb-ft @4730. I would think that's off, comes out to ~827 hp. I don't buy that lol. However it absolutely gets down. Never stops pulling.

Don't be shy post up the build. It's cool to see something different. Not every car or builder has an unlimited budget to throw six figures at. There's no shame in a home built car that slays. Most of these cars are getting pretty hacked up at this point and not even to go fast just in neglect and band-aiding.

From what I've seen from other SCed builds showing dyno numbers, that may be close to reality with 10lbs pushing through it. Torque seems a bit high but hp seems spot on.

I may have gotten numbers backwards in the hp formula lol. That would be great If it really makes that. Have to get on the dyno pretty soon. Got to do injectors and a few other things, then it'll be ready for it.

That would make sense since these make a good bit more hp than torque. My old NA m113 was the opposite and felt it.

I checked, it came out 1000+ the other way. Hptuners has to be lying a little lol. Blower blew up today, though, thats always a good time. It makes 0hp now.

Rebuild was cake. Had a bearing making some noise for a while, she finally let go pulling it back into the shop. Ordered a different wheel, but there wasn't any contact or anything in the intake.

I posted a picture a few replies back, but it may not have uploaded. Service is pretty rough in here. Here's a picture of the hoopty along with the engine bay

Plumbed into the stock water system? Or do you have a separate res/pump for that? Just found a procharger on marketplace so apologies for the questions.

Nothing wrong with questions. Its separate, on its own system so you can throw ice in it if need be. It's a lot of fabrication to get it all in there, if ya go that route.

Not what I was expecting at all. Great use of mass air flow sensors and moving the throttles out. This is pretty slick setup for diy. I'm most amazed the stock intake manifold hasn't blown up or is it just a cosmetic shell at this point? I didn't think it could handle more than 3psi lol. I don't think this could fit on a C63, the engine bay is much smaller length wise. You'd have to do a half size radiator like old hondas to make room. What's the corrugated tubing between motor and bov for? Have you done any draggy times? This has got to be pretty high on the list for fastest m156 cars. thank you for sharing!

Thank you sir! So the hard line is flexible coolant tube. Used it to reroute around the intercooler. Intake is pretty much a shell, still has the runners and all, but the flaps are locked out. It may or may not be welded in a few places lol. Haven't hooked the draggy up yet, just got the maf scaled to 3 bar and making decent power. I think there'd be room, lots and lots of relocation lol. Speaking of hondas, have one of those making 600 on 12 lbs lol. Supposed to have a biklet intake coming that will fit under the hood, it's been almost 8 months on that. Also have a crankshaft guy I use regularly, we've found billet rods that match up almost exact. Close enough for an over or undersize bearing would take up the difference. Hopefully she'll be pretty quick soon.

This is a pretty cool setup.

Major props for doing something original with the platform.

This also might be the most viable candidate for that billet IM that's supposedly just come to market.

Did you route the intake tubing / air filter into the wheel well area?
