Tuning software
Anyone knows a company that sell a software to tune our cars ?
I already have a my genius and the equipment to burn the programs. But what I want is a software the let me tune my car.

EDIT: Someone on the forums has gone through a lot of tune methods and how to do it, I don't remember where to find his post though.

The only option at the moment is WinOLS for ECU editing from what i've seen.
I wish HPT would pick up this market, I love their software for my chevy tuning. According to Bill/Keith they have no plans though unless it changed very recently.

Trust me bud its in the works its being tested as we speak but they are not happy just yet

I can't wait to do my own tunes. All my friend with Fords, chevrolets,GTR.... Tunes their own cars. I'm very happy with my tune but it is not customize for my car. I'm shure we can do lot better.

Because it's not a big market I don't think many companies are interested in develop software's for Mercedes. But a few companies like Weistec, Eurocharged, OE and Autowerks are tuning right now so a program exists and work well.

Where are they talking about it? I know they are doing big things in the NAG1/722.6 world for the chrysler guys with TCM stuff, but that's a far cry from MB ECUs.

Well I would love it to be able to use the HPT software on my benz and start doing them for others, i've bought dozens of credits from HPT just on chevy product so far and the software is fantastic compared to lots of the other stuff i've used.

unless you plan to tune cars for a living its not really affordable. I contacted the company that sells the myGenius. their customer support is pretty responsive, but pricing for the tuning suite is between 9-12k. beyond that i have no idea how much ecu configuration files cost but you will be able to tune most european engines/ecu's granted you've purchased the ecu configuration file.
i honestly looked into it as i tune standalones, but the price wasn't feasible unless i had 10+ cars waiting for a tune cash in hand.

I have a complete kit - WinOLS & CMD.
It cost Au$10k about 1 year ago & have no further use for it. It is capable of tuning most European vehicles if you have the skills. WinOLS is not for the unskilled, but I do have the definition files for the C63 which makes it a lot easier. I will not be supplying any tune files or support with it.
