I've looked at the Eibach unit for the regular C-class (28mm/21mm and 2-way adjustable vs 27mm/20mm stock C63), and they're a different shape. Only 1mm difference in thickness for both F/R - which translates to 15% stiffer front and 20% rear - but they also come with poly bushings which is nice. Plus the front is 2-way adjustable.

No, the Eibach kit did not come with end links.

Did you use grease for poly bushings? I used aftermarket sway bars on my /// M3 E92 with poly bushings, without lubrication they creaked.

They’re great. Front installs easy.

Prob a stupid question but since I’m not under the car, how easy was it getting off the old brackets from the oe bar and mounting them with the poly bushings?
I know they are creaky. DId you use try then Teflon tape trick?

Nice bump, just stumbled across this. So considering c63's understeer on the track like most front end heavy cars do, do you think this helped or hurt? I could see any additional stiffness in the rear being helpful to induce oversteer. Im sure the front bar feels great when not pushing it to the point of plowing, what is your take?

Yup you nailed it. I feel the rear effect much less than the front, but yes the car rotates more easily now. The front is more responsive with quicker turn-in and much less understeer too. I changed a bunch of things at once, but the sway bar effect is definitely felt. It’s a cheap and relatively easy improvement. The poly bushings squeak a lot though. Like everything else.

nice find? what about the rear, I tried to search, but their system sucks.
Just what is involved with install? DIY level with hand tools? anything need to be re-aligned after?

Very DIY, and it appears that the Eibach kit comes with new mounts given the note on the Pelican site.

I took a look at the article on front sway bar install. Looks simple enough to replace with the eibach.
how was the install on the rear bar?
Any benefit or issue changing only the front bar since BLKRokt said he didn't feel much difference in the rear?

You have to drop the entire rear cradle to get that one on, so it’s a lot of work. I wouldn’t do just the front though, the rear needs it more IMO.

Well yeah, that too. Might find them on eBay or something though.

dunno about the C63, but as much as my E63 has well acting sized sway bars, i'd love to have beefier ones in form of size or hollow.
can't say there is no reason for them...everybody has a different driving style as well as prefers different characteristics. my Audi A4 has Hotchkis uprated RS4 sway bars...they're bigger than the RS4's sways and I'm running them at the 3rd stiffest setting. They're great, my Audi takes turns like a gokart now.

My Audis all plow like farm tractors. Really got to chuck them in to get them to rotate.
My little brother rebuilt the entire underneath of his S4, and used solid mounts for everything. He says that helped the car turn in too.
