I really like those black CA plates. I am moving there in Dec but need to keep my VA registration because I am catless. I also like the Delaware ones that are black with white letters

If they ask just tell them that the AF means Air Force.. there are lots of Air Force bases in FL .. it just might work..

Cool. Thanks for the advice. There is a spot on the form that asks reason/meaning behind the tag, so I'll give it a shot. I was going to say they were initials, but they definitely don't match mine.

I went to the tag agency earlier today. She said the tag was available but the registration hasn't hit the system yet. Told me to come back in 7-10 days.

That part went pretty smoothly, I just hope it doesn't get flagged during the 6-8 week process.

Just ordered this last week, love the new MD plate design, much nicer than the previous version.

Any Germans/German-speaking members on here? I was also debating GRMHTRD (German HotRod), but thought this was a cooler idea.

FYI - Heiss (HeiB) in German means "Hot"

There must be multiple meanings to this. Since Illinois is such a financial mess, much of it due to union malfeasance allowing the double dipping of pensions, this may not be the best message to proclaim.

The tag agency approved it today, said it'll take up to 2-3 months to get in.
Fingers crossed- Hopefully no eyebrows will be raised while its being made!
