if your using 7g tranny expect it 2 last no more then 1 week
if your using mct you will be fine but i would look at building it sooner then later

What year is your car? There are two different transmissions that have been used. I personally dont know the exact limits but the transmission used in 08-11 (with the torque converter) is slower but can take a little more abuse than the MCT used in the 12+

7g tips out at 700nm mct can take around 800-850
stage 2 is plenty enough for stage 2 and is already pushing stage 3 will tip it over the edge
Just ask merc63 he will tell you

You will need a built auto
You can buy the rebuild kit from weistec or send your auto there to be built

I looked at option cards for C63, pre facelift, that was my bracket and compared options.
My opinion is that the "reinforced transmission" was not common to all C63, again, pre MCT.
It's possible that if you have the reinforced transmission in your card, the 7G may be better suited.

I had it done as well, shifts are a little faster and more firmer. The increased line pressure is supposed to handle a little higher torque (like from a stage 2) but a full build i think is still inevitable. From my knowledge, its not just a TCU tune itself, they tune the ecu to accommodate the upgraded valve body.
I heard rumors that they are working on a v2 tcu/vb upgrade thats why they pulled it off for now.

Back in the day dads c63 ran into a few trans issues and if i remember correctly. He said the 7g has a updated clutch packs for 2010-11. And he did run 10.3s on stock trans but only in M . In S it would slip every other time unless u did ecu reset then it would be ok for another run. That was on 700rw c63.

I actually heard that they pulled it off because it wasn't selling that well, not ot mention, people were sending their VB/TCU in not packaged properly, which would cause them to be damaged and a huge hassle all around.
Pretty much the same as the guy before.
Shifts a bit faster and firmer. I want to say my downshifts are more aggressive too. Haven't had too much seat time, but that's what I feel so far.
Still have to remember that the car still does have a TQ Converter. Can only polish a turd so much, lol.
