WTB/Advice: C63 AMG Black Series Aftermarket Exhaust
Hey guys,
So I have a dual-purpose request, I am looking for some feedback on those who have replaced the exhaust on the 12-13' C63 BS cars.
I have the car incoming and kind of feel like this is only one of the items I would consider swapping out, therefor, which exhausts are available? Renntech, iPE, Akrapvovic? Throw some out there, and let me know if anyone has anything used that they might have used at some point or another.
As you all can tell, I am not entirely sure what is available, or what the feedback is on them since I have not seen too many options available. So, turn to the experts on the forum!
Thanks all in advance.

I am asking for advice or help from others who have fitted the Black Series with different exhaust if it is literally the same thing as any of the C63 AMG coupes? Or is there anything to be aware of when shopping for an exhaust for that car specifically, a nice example is I know that Akrvpovic recommends modifying the exhaust from OE form.

Black Series exhaust same as the coupe. Do a search for exhaust options, and read the links in the FAQ, it's been discussed to death. Good luck.

No apologies necessary man, you know how it is, welcome to the forum. There's a ton of knowledge here if you search for it - pretty much everything that can be discussed, has been discussed, ad infinitum. I know RL well from my 996TT days. Say hi to Toby for me (not).

The biggest question I have is answered in what you stated, so now it is just searching for an exhaust that doesn't cause the neighbors to come at me with pitchforks.
Have been thinking of the 911 Turbo itch also...

If you want something that your neighbor's won't hate, you need something with a valve.
You could do something like:
MBH Headers
IPE/Armytrix/FI/Agency Power Catback Exhaust
All those have valves
OR, you could do:
MBH Headers
Akrapovic Catback (Resonated)
The AK Exhaust quiets it down a lot, but not everybody likes the sound, so to each their own.
That being said though, even though the catback and headers will fit a Black Series, the tips, is different, so you MAY need to do a bit of custom work there, but, nothing too special/crazy though.
