Is this normal?
I was changing my tires today, and noticed something odd. The shop kept telling me this is normal, but I doubt it. I am just being stupid?




This is the back wheel well.

You're talking about the scrapes on the sway bar? I'm having trouble getting oriented, but scrapes most certainly are not normal.

No it is not "normal". It is clear somebody has had an encounter with something harder than the steel.

Am I blind? OP -- What specifically in the picture are you talking about? Describe it for us. Because if you're wondering about what I think you are, and everyone is talking about the little lines (which honestly just look like dirt that has been wiped off...)

That's looking down from the top of the wheel well. Nothing should rub the sway bar there. Unless it's just dirt that has been rubbed off by someone pulling down on it to check the endlink.
