C63 AMG - LSD
Yes I am the FNG who is making rookie mistakes..its ok we all have to start somewhere... I dont know nearly as much about these cars as most of you guys here but I am here to learn..here is what I am looking for.
11' or 12' in the 25-35k range under 50k miles in black and if I can find one under warranty that would be a big bonus but not a deal breaker.. Facelift is not a deal breaker either.. I prefer the older style full leather seats and like a dark wood trim. If there wasn't an issue with head bolts I would be just fine with an older model but since it costs 5 years salary to fix I am looking for newer.

Unless you don't have the money to fix it and you are looking just to finance everything.

You're not the first guy to do this, and the outcome is frequently either a) one day they disappear never having bought a car or b) they buy a total POS and then post up a ton of questions that have already been answered in a million threads, and spend their time giving wrong answers to other guys.
Dont be that guy.
Start right now with your profile. Where it says Drives: and you have put C63 AMG, change it to Camry, but shopping (or whatever you drive). Lay in the weeds a bit and listen, instead of hopping in with your uninformed opinion. Ask questions, being clear that you are the FNG.
Do that and you will get lots of help. Even from cranky guys like me.

Brotha, it only cost like 3k to fix. If you're stepping into a car that cost a lot to maintain you should be able to address a 3k issue. You'll spend more just to get a '11 and even more for a '12.

I worked in a sales environment, and one of the worst things someone could do is Test Drive a car with absolutely no intentions of purchasing it. waste the sales guy's time and possibly money if he missed a client that was going to purchase.
Guy sounds like he wants to spend too little, to get too much, for something he wont be able to maintain.
Okay, now I said it too. Anyone else? lol
