Hopefully joining the club soon
And then we said "ah what the hell" and mashed that sucker down. I think thats what'll happen here. I believe in him. He will pull the trigger.
Having said that if he doesnt with this car he prolly never will. They don't get much better than this and we all know it.

And I truly wasn't trying to be condescending. It just doesn't make sense. OP loves the car dearly it seems like, goes and sees it, it looks amazing, has good mods, good history, and then walks for $200... Seems left out of field, no?
But, I too think he'll pull the trigger on it though.

I guess its like moving. Theres some easy years there where you do it all the time, but get settled in and it looks pretty daunting.

I had a 74 Celica GT with the 18R motor and a 5 gear. Everybody was like "FIVE speed? WTF?" Loved that car. Traded it for a POS Monza with a 305 and a glass pack muffler. Crap, but loud, and felt fast. I was an idiot.
Look at me using past tense. "I was an idiot". Like anything has changed except the price tag.
I mean when i went to look at a 2016 RAM the dealer offered me 22k trade, I almost made that deal but my heart was with the C63 so I passed it up.
It's a nice car, I can't stop thinking about it but they buyer for my car couldn't come up with 5K so i had to say no. No rush ill be in the club eventually!
Plus not even making the calls for reasonable offers.... MB dropped 5k on a 2013 p31 sedan he couldn't even drop 1k and complained about how little money he's making on the car.
He continued by saying we own 31 dealerships and mercedes benz oakville... but refused to move $200....
I'm just going to sell my car privately and if its there ill go back and talk to someone else if not, ill find one by April for sure.
by the way the young kid called and couldn't get the 27k for my car said he'd give 22k. so if I find something i truly love i can always dish it off to him as he's not in a rush.
I know for sure ill be getting one, but I'm not about to lose 6-8k on a trade its just a dumb move. i would of been willing to take the tax benefit if he took the 63k offer. they even said i could take the sub,amp,C63 steering wheel.
If your C300 was a Honda civic he would a have a line of people around the block to buy it.. (best basic transportation you can buy) You will always get more money for your car by selling on your own.. Im lookin to buy a C63 by then as well.. good luck on your search.

If Marko doesn't feel right about it, then it could be more than just the price. Not to say the car is bad, but a car is supposed to make you feel something, and the dealer should deliver.
I would have bought a 2010 Volkswagen CC R-Line if the dealer budged $500. He didn't, and I don't regret my decision one bit.
Having said that, the VW diesels are actually pretty good cars, but what a nightmare.

The car Marko is looking at is amazing, without a doubt, and I don't think it can get much better. At the same time, he hasn't been looking for long and I don't know what kind of time frame he has. The 63 is top notch though so we'll see. If at all the best he can do it not give the civic guy his comission haha.
I mean its well maintained i have all the records, only used 91 octane I have all my receipts lol, I just did the full service on it. has a **** ton of money put in it with all OEM AMG stuff, no accidents or claims.... average asking price is like 26,500 i said it some where in the post forget the number I'm only asking 27,000 with all the upgrades. if i get that number with taxes paid its about 23,500 much better than the tax benefit for my honda civic.
I just need to wait for the right person to see it and buy it. Then ill be buying a AMG!!!! in the mean time ill buy a Volvo 850 or s70 for a winter beater.
found this one seems like a great deal if it has 31 package and LSD? need to find out more info
i know the 2012 has the weird coloured instrument cluster but I can live with that as its the same in my C300.
