Factory ecu flash

Is there any way to restore my ECU to factory without paying the dealer $200? I want to get a EuroCharged tune but need to start from factory stock. I purchased the car used with a custom tune and don't have any details on it. I have removed the catless headers since and want to run a tune that is designed for a stock car.

Subscribed, I want to see if there is any way to flash anything on your own on your ECU.

If you buy the Eurocharged tune with handheld you will be able to id your car and get a
100% stock file to load.

I thought the MyGenius handheld just saved the cars existing program before applying the "tune". I am not sure what is meant by "id your car". Can anybody provide additional details?

There is no way to save your current ecu contents via obd. When you go to install the genius software, you will hook tool up to car to id the software. This will allow Eurocharged to provide you with the stock original file for your particular car. Which they will send you, as well as the tunes.
