I ended up picking up a dirt cheap 2006 330i. It has the old inline 6 3.0 and has sport seats, nav, heated seats and whatnot. I got it for a steal and my mechanic personally loves these cars and parts are so cheap. Needs some TLC though

I was seriously considering a used base fiat 500 but car had no comforts and rattled and felt like a tin can....abarth is another story but too expensive for a daily.

Great car, how much did you end up picking it up for? If you don't mind me asking.

I just care about good mpg and comfortable low key car that I can use my phone bluetooth stream on and hit potholes/bumps without much consequence. Sometimes I drive 200+ miles a day and I get tired of watching the road like a hawk for potholes/debris and the roads I drive on are beyond terrible.
Different pov but why get another car... more maintance, insurance, blah...

If you are in snow, buy a set of winter wheels and change them yourself each season.

If you're buying another car because you are wearing out your wheels... you're just burning cash... do the math.

The car cost me less than a set of snow tires/rims would have costed me for this car. It was a no brainer plus my insurance barely went up. The car came with a bunch of mods that I dont care and is stupid lowered on coilovers but after raising it should be an okay daily.

I echo some thoughts. 200 miles a day + terrrible roads = lease is a terrible option

so it turns out the c63 isnt a great daily driver for obvious reasons , im also in the process of leasing a daily driver. Looking into a '16-17 toyota tundra crewmax, gas mileage is similar but more importantly is a comfortable ride and can write off for my business.
