KW V3 Users - Questions

Hi guys, im installing my KWs next week and have a few questions before I start. Hopefully somebody can chime in. I've installed KWs for all my cars and it usually requires removing the trunk panels.
I wanted to know if its required on the C63 as well? Im guessing so.
And to get access to the rear damper/rebound did you have to cut an openning in the trunk? Can you post a pic of it?

I have an appt with West End so it has to be installed by then.

You will have to remove the trunk panels to get at the top mounting bolts for the rear shocks. Also if you want to adjust the rear damper you will need a hole in the rear panels or remove the panels. There is a post buried in here somewhere with a pic if you can find it. I think he cut a square out of the panel and put velcro on the inside of the panel to hold it in place. Maybe only cut it on three sides to make a flap of sorts. I think you will need to drill a hole to get at the adjuster in the top of the shock. No pics sorry.

I have done that - three edge slice through the trunk liner. I'll try to remember to take a picture tomorrow.

The newer type of V3 should have their adjustments on the side of the rods instead of the the top, in that case you won't need to drill holes in the rear shock towers.
