We have two seasons, summer, and 2 weeks of winter...
The coldest that it gets here is mid 30's, excluding the random freezing nights where we declare a state of an emergency. Average temps throughout winter is 45-55.
Summers are very hot, mid 90's.

Yeah they come with less tread out of the box ^
If it makes you feel better, it's the same story with R888's...they come with 5mm when new. You'll love the new tyres man. Be safe

Thanks.
I'll focus more on exterior once I get the tune installed.
I'm thinking of getting a professional paint correction. I just dont know if I'm ready to dish out another 2k on this car...
ContiSportContact 3 I went through them pretty fast. Let's just say that I like to drive my car. If you know what I mean. ^.^

I need everyone's help.
I just received eurocharged handheld device, along what should be on there is a v6 tune.
I was under the impression, and this may still be the case, that it was just a plug and play out of the box. Kinda how my Cobb AP3 was for my Sti.
First thing I saw in the box was instructions.. not bad, right? Instructions are always good. But then these instructions went against everything I expected.
It talks about installing software on my PC, updating software, checking some boxes when updating that I dont even see... then going to my car, getting the stock map. then going back to my pc...then it mentions some tabs that should light up this time around......then eventually sending my stock map with my invoice, list of mods, fuel I use, etc.... then in return I would I guess receive my map.....anyways see below.
My question is, do I really have to follow these instructions or were they kinda just dumped in there to be there... I will ofcourse call eurocharged tomorrow for instructions before I brick my ECU by playing the guessing game.

Follow the instructions to the letter. Expect some unexpected behavior on the handheld but let it do it's thing. Put a charger on the battery if you have one or make sure it is fully charged when writing the tune. GL

Yes, you have to follow them. Unfortunately most handheld tuning is pretty primitive for these cars.

How exactly would I know if its fully charged or not. This brick looking thing has very limited options on the screen. I'm very surprised, a bit disappointed at the hand held device compared to the Cobb Tuning hand held device. Especially that this is meant for higher end cars. Not to mention that Cobb technology is around the same price, if not cheaper.

You can check voltage in the engineering menu. Otherwise, if you drive it enough it should be charged up just fine.

Unfortunately that is the only handheld tuning device it's not a eurocharged product all others oe tuning velos all use the my genius only one. Only other option is to send ecu. Now to your problem you should see the stock map when you plug the my genius into computer and be able to save it to your computer. Do you not see that?

I finally got this to work!
Persistence and more importantly a laptop from 2008.
The problem was, all of my other modern computers did not identify the handheld device. Even after i turned off firewall, tried installing the drivers manually, nothing worked.
I finally decided to use a Sony laptop that I kept from like 2008. As soon as I plugged in the device, the darn computer read the device and installed the driver.
Sending the file to EC right now. (The file size was only 6.07 KB, that kinda seems low, is this normal?)
What a mess.
