C63 507 Wagon from France
Hi guys
The '04 CL65 has got a new stablemate since a few months : a C63 507 Wagon.
The Wagon is the rarest version of the 507 Edition, as it was only available for the Euro market.
The car is fully loaded : LSD, interior carbon pack etc...
Obsidian Black with alcantara/leather black.
Silver 507 wheels.
This car is just AMAZING

A few years back I hauled the wife and in-laws + 2-weeks of luggage around the UK in a rented BlueTec C-Class estate and I still miss that car to this day... FULLY burden going 75mph on the interstate and I was getting almost 50mpg!
Had I known a 507 version existed... I'd left them all there and taken the car home instead.

MB has, IMHO, built some really smart wagons over the years with the possible exception of the W210.
They did bring the W203 wagon into NA for a period of time but ended it according to sources due to poor sales in the face of Mini vans and SUVs.
My W212 E350 4M wagon was a great looking car admired by one of the best 300SL restorers in NA. The current W213 wagon has lost something IMHO over the W212.
When I first looked at this I did a double take as it looks like my W212 in so many ways but so much better with those wheels etc.
I am viciously jealous and like others think it is just gorgeous.
Enjoy driving it to the fullest and remember every time you take it out and play there are a bunch of us living vicariously through you!!

Thanks for your enthusiasm guys
I will
I've always been a Michelin fan but I admit that these Continental SportContact 5 are doing a great job. With the LSD, even with putting your foot down after a turn, the traction control is not lighting at all, excellent grip and traction. Plus, the car feels pretty comfortable. I mean, the suspension is of course firm, but it is not harsh at all. An excellent compromise between a perfect handling and ride quality.
And this 6.2L N/A engine is just incredible, revving hard until 7000 rpm but getting so much torque at low rpm. Best of both worlds
So much different compared to our CL 65.

Thanks for the info ! Great one you have here.
I had a doubt about Australia, so you confirmed that the 507 Estate was available there
I would be curious to know the production numbers of the 507 Edition in Estate version.
On an cars advert website, a seller indicated 100. He said that he picked up this info on the main German AMG forum. Accurate or not, it shouldn't exceed 200 cars for sure...

I would import one to Canada but to do so I would have to wait until 2028 and it is 15 yr old.

I would import one to Canada but to do so I would have to wait until 2028 and it is 15 yr old so I could call it a collector car and it would be exempt from our emission regs.
