I stand corrected. The daytime running lights can be disabled through the "lights" settings on the dashboard without any error codes.
I only get a daytime running light error code when I manually enable my "eyebrow" lights only. When headlights are on during the night or during the day of that matter, no error codes are present. Since you are a facelift W204, you will not have to worry about any error codes, since they do not have any "eyebrow" lights in the headlights.
I verified by removing the resistors on the DRLs. I am happy I do not need them......; however, I have to keep the resistors for the side markers. Obviously no way to turn those off even through STAR diagnostic.
For some reason I could have sworn I was getting an error code while the headlights were on, this is not the case... I suppose I got confused when I turned my "eyebrow" lights on only, because that is when the error code shows.

im pretty sure the error code comes back, I disabled mine via lights menu and it still comes back. All my bulbs failed or there’s a short from old wires. Is there a way to deactivate via star or what resistor did u use.
