How to disable DRL lights?
Hello all! How to disable drl lights so that the computer does not show the error? How this is done at the C63 Black Series? How work the lights on the Black Series in "Auto" mode and on "Parking lights" mode?

You can do it through your cluster menu/steering wheel controls.
This video is for a pre facelift car but the steps are the same.

Just remove them. No errors. Turn it off in the menu too.

I removed my DRL and received errors. I went into the setting and disabled them. However, this ONLY disables them during the day.
I was still getting an error code. Then I remembered, when the headlights are on at night, the daytime running lights are also on but dimmed.
What did I do to solve the problem? Add resistors!
Problem is solved. I did it to the side markers as well.
They could not be coded off unfortunately; I tried.

Uhhhhhhh..... two things. PFL is probably different than FL. And C300 may be different than C63.
I actually did it. I modified my front bumper and removed the FL LED DRLs entirely. I shut them off in the dashboard menu, removed them, and NO ERRORS.
So from actual real-life experience doing exactly what you are proposing on the car make, model and year in question, just do what I said and no problems.
With that said, to the OP, don't you have a BS? They don't have DRLs.

So out of curiosity, when you had the DRL, they never dimmed at night while the headlights were on like in this picture?

5ohm 100 watts, they get warm though, just make sure it is not mounted to plastic and has good airflow.

I stand corrected. The daytime running lights can be disabled through the "lights" settings on the dashboard without any error codes.
I only get a daytime running light error code when I manually enable my "eyebrow" lights only. When headlights are on during the night or during the day of that matter, no error codes are present. Since you are a facelift W204, you will not have to worry about any error codes, since they do not have any "eyebrow" lights in the headlights.
I verified by removing the resistors on the DRLs. I am happy I do not need them......; however, I have to keep the resistors for the side markers. Obviously no way to turn those off even through STAR diagnostic.
For some reason I could have sworn I was getting an error code while the headlights were on, this is not the case... I suppose I got confused when I turned my "eyebrow" lights on only, because that is when the error code shows.
