C63 vs E36 M3 (Drivers Perspective)
A quick vid comparo of our W204 contrasted with our project E36 M3... on same roads from Drivers Perspective.
At less than half of the 507's HP... that little high rev'ing bimmer is pretty fun. I've been dd it for the past 8 wks.

Off topic question for betrezra
Is this your car / steering wheel
If it is - where did you purchase the steering wheel
I love that look
Thank-You

Wow DB... brings back memories! there was a vendor on this forum who made these. It was CRAZY $$$..... Like 1200 or something high..... for comparison my alcantara wrapped custom wheel for the little E36 M3 is $280 shipped from bulgaria...... with clocking spring. I'm finding the old bimmer parts are a bargain compared to the merc stuff.
The m3 is in paint now. Interior is getting done this week.... new vader seat covers, near side door panel covers.
I think I had a build thread on that Clk55..... should be some info from the st wheel seller.

Autoberry sells the recover kits. Very nice quality. My local shop did the install and the refurb of the foams.
Yeah I go a little carried away with the restoration... but I'm having a blast. plan is restore to stock, then mod, drive, de's... etc..... I grew up driving hoopty rides.... I refuse to drive another mis-match paint car again in my life time
another shot of the azz end..... I'm digging this stock silver color.... was kicking my self for going back stock color.... but it is turning out nice... and don't have to deal with door jams, under hood area......

What are you doing cooling system wise?
I just did Nissens radiator, Hepu water pump, hoses, Wahler thermostat, etc. Not actually a bad job to DIY. I also did an fan delete to now only run the aux fan. Does yours work?

First acceleration in the video - 6 seconds from stoplight to yellow sign on the left for C63, about 8 for the M. That says it all!
Seriously, glad to see you're having fun with this. What race track is the C63 picture from?
