2012 c63 or jeep srt 2014

hey guys I'm going to be buying something new very soon and wanted some feedback, I'm new to the forum and read a lot of info you guys have provided thanks, I'm looking for something a little fun this time coming from a reliable Honda Accord coupe v6, I want a 2012 c63 with 57km on it or a jeep srt 2014 with 52km, I'm looking for something long term and reliable, but also understand the more expensive servicing needed to maintain these cars, if you were me what would you get knowing you want something long term and relatively reliable with least amount of problems, I love the c63 2012 buy warranty is expired I can always buy third party extended, is 57km on it to high? Or is this the sweet spot, the car is going for $40k, in my mind it's a steal no accidents and it's a local Canadian BC CAR, thanks guys.

What will you do in the winter? winter tires?

Do you need to deal with a lot of snow?

57k km is not much at all.
Maintenance is always important.
Reliability of the C63 seems reasonable, especially if not dealing with the head bolt issue.

The Jeep SRT is a fun vehicle and usable year round with winter tires. Perhaps better for the mountains in the winter.

FWIW I used to drive my 2015 C63 year round, but parked it this winter to drive my 04 Subaru STi which in the winter is significantly safer (AWD), and can take advantage of the power. I don't miss driving the C63 in the winter because the Subaru is a blast to drive, but I miss the creature comforts of the Mercedes.

Figure out what you need in a vehicle and then get what fits that bill.

Thanks for responding guys, in my family we have a SUV a truck and I will pass my Honda down to my sister, so in Vancouver winters arent usually to bad with snow except for this year but the reason why I'm comparing the c63 to the jeep is because both are naturally aspirated beasts I know they are completely different but I want something that's gnna get the blood flowing and looks wise it comes down to these two for me. I want to know will the 2012 c63 last much more than 100k on it? I like the 2012 because of the facelift and interior but also the headbolts were corrected.

They are super reliable just do your maintenance... tires don't last but small price to pay... the srt is a good vehicle but the driving experience and excitement are a lot better in the 63... expected considering over a 1000lbs in weight difference

Nice! You should be just fine on the Km. IMO.... I would definitely get an extended warranty. Its worth the money to sleep at night knowing you're covered.. An engine can be north of $20k correct me if I'm wrong. Me personally that's not something I'm willing to think about if in tragedy that's what I'm looking to spend excluding labor.

As for 100k+, as another said it'll last that easily with proper maintenance. In fact, these cars I bet will go 200++ with proper maintenance and likely only give you a few of those German electrical gremlins along the way.

The good news is, you're shopping for the right year (2012+)

As for what to look for, treat it as a normal car. Go test drive it, feel it, listen to it, etc. The motor is stout. Also, if you hear light metallic tapping upon startup DO NOT WORRY. That is normal for these cars.
