Pre Safe function Currently Limited See
Today Driving the C63- I get this message few times.
Pre Safe function Currently Limited See owners manual.
What is it?
I went to the dealer they said its something to do with the radar detector sensor behind the grille. They ask me to clear the message only. If the sensor is really faulty- the message won't go away & when you start the car- the message will be there.
When I get that message- I just use the back button to clear the message it won't come out or it will come out if I get close to another vehicle on traffic?

Dealer diagnosed
Mine happen to be doing the same thing I took it to the dealer and they said it was an issue with the blind spot sensor. They replaced it under warranty. I can let you know the part number they replaced it if you like.

oh please. Let me know. & driving the car today- I did notice one side sensor didn't not work? The other sides beeps & the other seems not working & that pre safe warning will pop up if some cars go near.

When my blind spot assist was inoperative the dealer diagnosis was a dying battery... Not saying this will be the same for your problem but maybe worth getting a battery check too? I have an obd scanner but the program I had couldn't detect the error code unfortunately.
