I actually agree with you in part. Most people have done higher speed driving on empty roads. That's far different than what the OP has done, which is street race with traffic clearly visible in his videos.

I don't think anyone wants to play cop. I think people just don't support a behavior that is dangerous to people who aren't involved. I enjoyed mine plenty without street racing, and there are plenty of tracks around. If this had been done with no other cars around I doubt we'd be having this conversation.

Street racing is dangerous but so are the majority of American drivers. There is no concept of passing lane, self entitled losers, seniors that shouldn't be on the road, low self esteem ragers, etc, the list goes on and on. The American road test is a laughing joke. I have been in so many accidents an in nearly all of them the guy has no insurance, expired insurance. The danger is everywhere, americans cant drive for ****.

It amazes me how many C63 owners are defending street racing. Jesus, I understand that these cars have gotten cheaper, but it seems like the people who used to drive Mitsubishi Eclipses with body kits have simply moved on to AMGs, and kept the same crappy "I do what I want" attitude.

Street racing on a empty road late at night with minimal to no traffic is harmless fun. We are not talking about a summer day with the highway packed full of families going to the beach and having some racing there.

This all taking place on a 6 lane highway in long island.
But no worries the police are more concerned about sitting on the side of the road during heavy morning traffic and iissuing tickets for not having a front plate at 8:00 AM on a Monday morning. Why would they ever be patrolling/doing real police work to catch these kind of guys??? Its much easier to sit on the side of the road jerking off and robbing hardworking people of their money.
