Hey guys I just moved to Silver Spring in Maryland. I recently purchased the KMAC front camber bushing kit and wanted to know of any suspension places you go to that can install it? I currently have an appointment with a shop in Lorton, VA but not until the end of the month, the soonest they can get me in. Would like to get it done sooner. Any suggestions are welcome, TIA.

Last night on my way back to Maryland, saw a few AMGs getting on the 495 and they took the 270 split heading to Rockville/Gaithersburg, any of you guys was part of it? And were you headed to a meet? Due to my move, been a little disconnected here.

Other bit - on recommended shops, not sure what your experience is around with shops, or benz mechanics specifically:
World Foreign Car Service on three chopt is a great option for regular wrenching if you need. Guy that owns it has been wrenching on benzes for as long as I can remember, reasonably priced too.
If you must, Peter over at west broad mcgeorge is probably the best (least pain in the ***) of the service writers over there if you ever need to run to the dealer. Last guy on the row.
Wraps/Tint - United Solar down by Chesterfield Town Center off southlake. Great people - certainly know what they're doing.
Body work/paint - Burleigh's Auto Body. Also good people, original owner's moved on, but the staff is all still the same. They would rather do collision repair, but if you need, they will do other stuff. Just look in their lot sometime when they're open what's sitting out front will generally be all the proof you need that they're good.
Tires/Alignment - Vonderlehr on Chamberlayne. Good people, reasonably priced.
As far as the other categories, in Richmond, no idea anymore.
I've been mainly a VW guy for a long time - quite a capable wrench when it comes to most things... I just never have the time anymore. Done more than my share of heavy engine maintenance and suspension builds on the like... kinda necessary when it's your old track car ('02 GTI).

FYI: regarding "Peter" at McGeorge Mercedes on Broad Street in the West End of Richmond: he recently retired, and thus is no longer an option for Service Manager at that location. Haven't yet developed a relationship with a different Service Manager. Regarding mechanics at that location: "Charles" has always been my go-to guy on the E55. He has many years of experience and shoots it straight (I think).
I live in RVA (Short Pump) and would love to connect. I used Peter for years on a now-totaled E55 AMG. New-to-me used (2013) C63 Silver, to arrive next week via covered transport (from Florida Naples Mercedes) and I am having a hard time not obsessing about the car. Have drooled over all youtube vids and car-mag reviews about the 6.2L naturally aspirated miscreant. Am looking forward to pissing off liberal enviro-***** with the low MPG (as long as gas prices stay low, that is
Thanks

So who is the Service Mgr. over there now: Is it Ron Shaban? I don't take my car to the West End location often, but I know Chris is a good Service Advisor. I have never dealt with Charles as a tech, but I know Kevin is a real @$$. I frequent the Midlothian location...and Brian, Scott, Troy, and Shawn are all great SA's; I have been working with Brian since he came to MB, and have built a great professional and personal relationship with him. Jay is new so I don't have much experience with him.
Would love to see your new C63, maybe we can connect in the near future; I work in the West End.

This is the information from the event.
Part 2 of this Summers AMG Benz Meet & Cruise!
Part 1 was great, so we had to keep this event going. This time around we've received alot of input and added some amazing ideas to the cruise.
We will meet at the Tysons Corner parking garage at 7pm. Their will be a briefing at 7:10 to give everyone much needed info and the cruise will start at 7:15 sharp! Their will be photographers in attendance and the cruise will be 1-2 hours long.
***Because we are expecting a large group of participants from all over the east coast, you MUST sign up and submit your vehicle using the link below!

First MB here and I'm from Woodbridge. I got hold of a 2011 black with P31 package and with 26k miles 2 weeks ago. I'm loving it so far except the sluggish MCT. I replaced a 335is with DCT with this so the transmission lag is very apparent to me.

Hello fellow commonwealth's!!
Hi everyone!!
Im John, From Woodbridge. I used this forum in the past as a great research tool. This is my first note, so bear with me. Do any of you know of anyone with a Star diagnostic tool? I've tried the Service centers in Alexandria and Arrington, but was turned away. I'm looking to code the car for HID adjusters.. I've Installed my retrofitted headlamps, wiring harness, range adjusters etc. But..I've hit a barrier when it comes to programming the chassis to accept the signal. any help would be appreciated. I hope to run with you on i95 or i64 in the near future.
