Rear bumper bracket help

Hey guys, been doing some searchers but no luck. Just bought a c63 with a little.minor rear bumper damaged (repairable), however the bracket that holds the radar sensor is toast. I been trying to look around but no luck. I was wondering if anyone had any idea where I can find these radar brackets
Thank you.

Perhaps this?

A 204 541 00 26

Number 178 in attached diagram. I've searched all through the parts, and can't find anything else. I also assumed a regular C63 sedan. If you want me to look further and be most accurate, post or PM me your VIN.

So just received the part and looks like a microscopic bracket. Definately not it. This is for a coupe and the bracket is to hold the blindspot on the rear bumper.

Well, bummer then. Is it any of the other parts in the diagram. If you think you can Identify, I can give you the part.

I looked thru all the various groups of parts, and can't find anything resembling that pictured part.

Also, as requested, if I have your VIN, I can drive to parts specifically for that car.

Went thru the entire catalog again and can't find anything resembling that part. However, I found a left and right "Sensor Bracket, Radar".

Based on your description, these may be the ones, even though they don't look like your pic. I have attached a pic of the rear bumper parts. The subject part is number 435 in the drawing.

Hope this helps.

Just glue it on with silicone caulk, or fix the clip with the same. Unless you're planning to take your rear bumper cover off frequently, it really shouldn't matter.

I used double sided 3M tape but fell off today. Maybe I should try to silicone it.

I saw that one on the diagram but that's what holds the module in place however, What I don't see the actual bracket piece that holds the module in place like the picture above. Thanks for the help.

There are MANY kinds of 3M double sided tape...open cell, closed cell, high adhesion and many levels all the way down down to low adhesion. You should be using an automotive trim application, usually has a red cover over the one side and has a high level of adhesion. Can be found at automotive/hardware store.

Also, preparation and execution are critical when using double sided tape. Cleaning both surfaces with alcohol and pressing hard for 60 whole seconds before releasing is really important.

Guaranteed one of the above is why your repair failed.

I could be wrong, but it looks like this piece was originally heat welded to the car, thats what those fly swatter holes might be about...also means you need to use high adhesion tape and be flawless with your prep and execution.

Good Luck!
