Anyone know if they still exist? They had a pulley kit for our cars that I've been wanting to make and was going to have a machine shop try to make them.

They had a pulley kit that did not touch the crank pulley and under drove the rest of the accessories.

I have heard mixed experiences about Vivid Racing. I doubt the underdrive would be noticeable. I'd look more into the Weistec billet pulleys that are serviceable. The stock plastic pulleys are known to fail. Those, plus some aFe or Weistec dry filters would be better IMO. The intake mani spacers make sense but I'm not sure where else to get them.

VRP is different from those Vivid d-bags.

I got my phenolic spacers from Sikky (Thermalnator). Just Google it and you'll find them. I have an extra used EvoSport (I think) set if you want them cheap.

Also heard mixed things about relocating that intake air temp sensor. After researching it quite a bit, I decided not to do it. Don't remember the exact reason why, but it was good enough.

Blkrockt did u think the spacers made a difference? I can see using these on an e55 with a volcano supercharger sitting on the engine but I think our cars have a very good intake system

To tell you the truth, I just haven't gotten around to putting them in yet. I've got those, new gaskets and bolts, and Weistec pulleys and serpentine belt and tensioner sitting in a pile waiting for me to get to it. I know once I pull the intake manifold, the project is going to spiral out of control with cleaning and probably bigger throttle bodies, so I've been procrastinating while fixing other things instead.

With how hot our engines run though, every little bit helps.

Probably the same reason that I'm scared to do it...ambient temps vs intake temps could cause knock if the gap between data to the ecu vs real-world temps is big enough

That being said....conditions being favourable and if you don't mind being cautious when it's hot and when you're in traffic etc, then it might be worth doing even if it gives just 1 degree more timing advance. IMO it's something for the street racers though....track users...would probably give you heart palpitations more than anything

And besides, our engines run super hot once headers are fitted. FML I wish i had mine properly ceramic coated (from Polydyn) instead of the Mickey Mouse 'ceramic coating spray' that mine came with. I wonder if a ghetto heat-shield would do anything worth a damn in terms of reducing engine bay heat. If it does, then an IAT relocation might not be such a terrible idea. I have it done on my M5 and it's worth ~12hp on the dyno....worth it to me on that car, but then my air filters are literally behind the fog lamps.
