I think alot of members forgot to ask if your car is a PFL or FL.
The PFL models are known to have a flawed design on the "speaker bolts". If you are driving a PFL its possible they may fail at any time, resulting in pre-mature speaker wear.

Do you have a picture of these PFL bolts, and what is the process for checking my speakers? Maybe someone replaced my good FL bolts with the substandard PFL bolts at some time in the car history before I bought it.

Well now, THAT is very interesting indeed. I have a FL car, but it is entirely possible that AMG forgot with my car and put the substandard PFL speaker bolts in instead. I bet that's what's going on, there is obviously a conspiracy afoot at Affalterbach. I should hire an investigator to go undercover and sort this out. Thanks for the lead.

Those would be great for the occasional blasting of the Beach Boys or Summertime by Will Smith, but he stated he likes to listen to Glenn Miller at around 50%.... I think the summer tire versions might have to much bass for the trombone solos :\ ... Thoughts?
