Purchased a 507/Black Series LSD to put in my base model C63...am i good?

did the E63 and or e55 have the same rears as the black series with the fins and LSD? Saw a video the other day and wasn't sure which it was but say the fins which made me ask the question.

LOL! If all 507s have P31 pkg then its not an appearance pkg if it always has performance enhancements...thats my take on it. Either way, when I asked if my c63 had an LSD i was told, "Its an AMG...Of Course!" Took a few months but i learned through doing the research I should have done in the first place. Soon as I hit snow I could feel how useless the car was. Even with snow tires, oversteer control was sketchy. My M5 and CTS-V both had OEM LSD...its a shame my car is not equipped. Luckily, we have the technology to rectify this situation.

Weird. I did not know that. I guess 2010 being that year when they transitioned from it having the different suspension to having the different guts that somehow made sense to them. Probably made sense to them in terms of build cost/msrp

Ya it was kind of a **** off when the 2011 APX (P31) included the LSD and interior CF Trim for the same $6K+ price as the 2010 PP (P31/30). In 2010 the LSD and CF interior trim were ~ $2400 each. That was a huge saving for 2011. It was a transition thing from P30 (2009 to Dec 2010) to the PP for the remainder of the 2010 MY. All water under the bridge.....lol

Only the good boards have heated drama over stuff like this lmao. Im just glad to be getting this whole LSD situation rectified. Been talking with Tiff, gonna see about getting the Eurocharged tune done. Diff/Tune should be a dramatic improvement in a base model c63. Very exciting.

Fact - are you doing to try and sell your stock diff to offset cost?
I look forward to hearing if you can tell a diff between the stock c63 diff vs the better LSD from the wreck. I believe that is the same seller I got my complete 507 bbk from, and my 507 wheels. He was in the PNW.
