just wanted to say hi and have a few ???
just wanted to say hello just picked up a 2010 c63 with p31 and L.S.D. 2weeks ago.
I am from Washington state I flew to salt lake city and picked up the car I will say its a great car had never even driven one before so the 10 hour drive home was great the car is not the fastest but dose move out really well.
I have been lurking and searching this forum great and helpful info by the way that's how I ended up with a p31 package car.
I want the car to sound more aggressive and put out more power I have second cats gone looking into some L.T. headers been looking at weistec and MBH headers what headers put out more power? I do see most people favor MBH
also any tips on how to launch this car will be picking up a set of D.R.
Thanks. Marcus

I think all the LTH put out similar power. There may be a design that gives an extra couple of hp over the others, but I don't think you'll notice the difference.
A tune with LTH will give you a healthy bump in power.

LTH's are all basically the same. I'd keep an eye on used sets for sale around here. As for launching, the DR's will help, but it can be a tricky car depending on your setup.
What tires are on it now? People have good results with Michelin PSS / PS4S tires for daily use and getting the car to hook. I ran PSS's on both of mine using both 265 and 275 sizes and the car got up and went just fine.

You should just drop your car directly off at Weistec then and go straight to a Stage 6 supercharger with a 300hp shot of nitrous. Might as well have them do the headers while it's there. Keep us updated it sounds like an awesome plan.

If a blower really isn't dreaming for you then for the time being I would just get a Eurocharged tune and call it a day. Simple, easy, reliable, great company...
If you're going to wrench away at headers, while I think there may be a good DIY floating around (I'll look when I have a bit more time) they are really just headers. Pain in the a$$ here and there but just some nuts and bolts at the end of the day.
Lastly, if you're going to put a blower on, check the health of your car and definitely do the headbolts if they haven't been done already.
So far, with everything in this thread, you're looking at $30k+ in expenses. To start, get new tires and get a tune. You don't necessarily need to go straight for DR's. They wear fast and you don't necessarily have a need for them yet. Especially if you're DD'ing the car in the NorthWest I wouldn't recommend only DR's as rain will lead to a few extra gray hairs.

You might want to treat lightly with Weistec, at least at the moment. Especially on big $ items. Many have great success, but there have been some hiccups as of late and the kind I wouldn't want to deal with.

Is there any way I can physically see if my head studs were replaced at all?
As the DR I will not be DD this car only when I'm doing work To my civic

As for the headbolts, there are plenty of threads on how to tell differences and what not.

Weistec has great products. They just had some in house issues, customer service lapses, and some employee changes. They already had products ready to go for w204 C63's before all of that so the products aren't the issue and are in fact great.

Welcome and nice car.
I have a full MBH setup and can't be happier.
It's stupid loud at WOT... I had a guy ask me if I had cut outs because it sounded like a shotgun when I passed him.
Tires, I highly recommend Mihcellin SUper Sports.... I have hard time doing a burn out after I got them. I mean, talk about a good tire...
