Anyone have any experience with this hood or know anything about it? I was shopping around and came across this Hood. It's personally growing on me. I would paint the hood to match etc.

I found this just looking for a 507 hood online. I was just surprised I never seen it before. It's pretty unique IMO.

Yeah I agree. It would of been nicer IMO if it kept the same OEM style hood just with the glass in the middle. But I can't say I still don't like this hood.

Hate the vents or side-channel things.

But it would look awesome without those and being paint matched.

I would have a concern with the clear insert....how would it hold up to the heat and sun? I suspect that it would "yellow" or haze in some way, much like some headlights do.

I'd like to see it color-matched on a W204. I think it looks mean on a wide-bodied W205, but I'm not sold on the look for our cars. And those vents are terrible.

It doesn't specify the type of glass. It does look as if there is a pretty good quality rubber seal around the glass. So it could be some sort of automotive glass similar to our front windshield for all I know. At the price point also you would assume they wouldn't use a cheap glass. I'm just not sold on it quite yet. And $3k is a lot to spend to just fill my self curiosity. Here is a link to the hood-

I agree on the paint match. I looked all over the internet and could only find a W205 with paint match for this hood. And I only found two W204s with this hood thus far both leaving it all CF.

Agreed. It has that on the fence look for me. Doesn't look great enough for me to want to get it, but doesn't look sh*tty enough for me to hate it lol.
