W164 280cdi 2006
You
Hi. Hope your fine. I have a w164 280cdi, 1 month ago I have changed the turbo and the actuator. Now I'm reading exhaust back pressure sensor and it stuck under 3.000 rpm. I have changed the sensor with new one but is not the same with the OEM It has a different number on it, I still have the problem with my car it won't get more than 3000 rpm with gear if I put in park and accelerate it's fine it goes up to 5000 rpm. When I disconnect the clip on sensor and leave it off it's fine the car works great. Please give me some help, it's because the sensor is not the same or it is something else. Thnx

Did you ever fix the problem? Clean the sensor with MAF cleaner or replace the MAP sensor -- It's about $30 (Bosch) to $60 (mercedes). The codes will need to be reset, but may stay as permanent dtc code until the right drive cycle is done. My has no pending code and no CEL and a stored P0101 code.

My GLK250 is back at the dealership for three CELs. I had the AEM recall work done in April and was told about the extended emissions warranty at that time. The service advisor called after diagnosis and told me all my repairs will be covered under the AEM extended warranty. Now I'm sure there are tiny, lawyer-carved loopholes for certain things being covered, but my issues are all related to NOx sensor and DEF issues, and it's all being handled under warranty. YMMV.
